Briana Borten, Ayurvedic practioner, and Dr. Peter Borten, botanist and authority in herbal medicine, created this unique tea recipe for our clients at The Dragontree spa. We wanted to usher our clients from the outside hustle and bustle, to the serene environment of our sacred space by starting them off with a tasty and relaxing tea.

Some of our favorite ingredients?

  • Lemon balm– used since ancient times to lift the mood, the early (17thcentury) European herbalist Nicholas Culpeper wrote “it doth make the heart merry.”
  • Rose petals– traditionally used in western and Asian medicine to promote a peaceful and positive state of mind.
  • Lavender– immediately recognizable by its soothing fragrance, recent studies have found extracts of lavender to be effective at treating anxiety.

These herbs along with seven other delicious and soothing herbs relax you by calming the nervous and digestive system.
